Mr Annisul Huq

Mr. Huq is one of the leading businessmen of the country who successfully established The Mohammadi Group in 1986 and has always been the pivotal force behind the success of the Group. His astute leadership has led the group to become one of the leading Ready Made Garments Manufacturer and Exporter of the country, with an annual Turnover of US$ 27 Million – US$30Million and a work force of 6000 Mr. Huq’s Entry into the Energy Sector had started with Desh Energy as its Founder Chairman, to take on the challenges inherent in the industry and to assist the country in mitigating the current power crisis. Mr. Huq’s sound business credentials and 25 Years experience in Bangladesh industry will most certainly enable Desh Energy to achieve its long term objectives of providing the industry with the most efficient delivery solutions and strengthening the country’s energy infrastructure. Mr Huq is the ex-President Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers Association (BGMEA) and is the current Chairman of FBCCI, the premier association of business houses of the country.

Mr. Nuher L Khan
Managing Director

Mr. Nuher L Khan is the Founder Managing Director of Desh Energy Limited. As an aspiring entrepreneur Mr. Khan is an integral part of the Desh Energy team. His journey in the Energy sector of Bangladesh had started after completing his B.A in. Economics and Business with East European Studies from the University College London (UCL), which is among the top universities in the United Kingdom and also ranks as one of the finest in the world.

Mr. Khan has played a pivotal part in the progress of Desh Energy ever since its inception in August 2005 and has managed to add 60MW to Desh Energy’s portfolio.

Mr. Navidul Huq
Director

Mr. Navidul Huq is a Director of Mohammadi Group as well as Desh Energy. Mr. Huq currently heads Mohammadi Group’s Sweater Manufacturing Division. The sweater division of the Group had a good year in 2007 under the leadership of Mr. Huq. He has also initiated many other successful businesses for the group including the very important advancement of Mohammadi Group in the IT sector of Bangladesh by conceiving Bording Vista a Joint-Venture between the Group’s IT concern - Technovista and Denmark’s Boarding Group. Mr. Huq holds a Bsc. in Management from Bentley College.

Ms Shahpar Saba
Director

Miss Saba holds a B.A. in English Literature. As a Director of Desh Energy miss Saba is responsible for Desh Energy’s Public and Corporate Relations. She is also the Co-Designer of Bangladesh’s leading fashion brand Rina Latif.

Md Mahbubul Kadir
CFO & Senior Vice President

Mr. Kadir has immense experience in Bangladesh industry for over 15 years and has held senior positions as a Finance executive in various leading business houses in Bangladesh. Prior to joining Mohammadi, Mr. Kadir was at Ekushey Television Bangladesh’s first Satellite television channel as Vice President Finance. Mr. Kadir holds an Accounting Degree from the Dhaka University as well as a Masters Degree. He obtained his MBA from South East University. He is also an LLB working as a Legal Advisor of Company Law & Income tax in Kadir Associates.

Md Zakiul Hoque
Assistant Manager, Electrical and Electronic & Project Coordinator, 10MW Desh Cambridge Kumargaon Power Company Limited

Mr. Zakiul is a B.Sc. Engg. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Chittagong. In his 4 years of professional experience, he worked in some technical sites including Comilla Palli Bidyut Samity-1, Comilla REB.

Md Imdadul Haque
Assistant Manager, Mechanical Head of Plant, 10MW Desh Cambridge Kumargaon Power Company Limited

Mr Haque is a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from BUET. He has professional experience of 6 years in different manufacturing concerns as ASM Chemicals Industries Ltd. (a concern of Aziz Group), AA Synthetic Fibres Ltd., Sinha Yarn Dyeing Unit (a concern of Sinha Textile Group).
